Instructions
  1. prepare a plate or serving tray with graham cracker halves (you should have 8 whole crackers to make 4 s’more “sandwiches”)
  2. place marshmallows on wooden skewers
  3. for gas range method: “toast” marshmallow skewers over a medium-high or high flame while turning to toast all sides, about 1-2 minutes total; if they catch fire just blow out quickly (this helps them get toasty!)
  4. for broiler method: heat broiler to high and line a sheet pan with parchment paper, broil marshmallow skewers until toasty (keep oven door cracked to make sure they don’t burn); should take 1-2 minutes
  5. top four of the graham cracker halves with two chocolate squares and/or nut butter if using; you can also double the chocolate squares and add to both halves for extra chocolatey s’mores
  6. place hot marshmallows on chocolate covered graham crackers (it will melt slightly), then top with plain graham cracker to make the “sandwich”
